These raw, non-GMO, certified organi apricot kernels originate from wild apricot trees that have never come in contact with any pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers. The apricots are gentle harvested by hand, then the kernels are carefully removed and slowly and gently air dried.
Due to new legislation by Food Standards Australia & NZ, Apricot Kernels are not for human consumption. External use only. WARNING: All raw apricot kernels contain hydrogen cyanide (also known as amydalin or Vit. B17) and may be harmful if consumed.
Apricot kernels make a superb natural exfoliating medium, by finely grinding the kernels.
