These Certified Organic pistachios are grown in USA.

Ingredients: certified organic Pistachios, Himalayan crystal salt (used only for soaking nuts).

Activated – like all seeds, nuts contain protective compounds (phytic acids and enzyme inhibitors) to ensure successful germination. These are indigestible to us.

We soak the nuts in filtered water with Himalayan crystal salt, mimicking germination, thereby breaking down the indigestible compounds to simple ones that we can digest. They are then dried at a low temperature keeping the nutrients intact and preserving fats and proteins.

Pistachios – Pistachios contain many anti-oxidants. In particular they are high in the anti-oxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, which according to the American Optometrist Association help reduce the chances of developing eye conditions such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

Pistachios are an excellent source of magnesium, phosphorus and vitamin B6. They also contain high amount of copper, which is an important mineral in helping us absorb the iron that is in our food. Pistachios are high in both fibre and protein, making them an ideal choice for non-meat eaters, and to aid in maintaining gut health.
